Biography
My name is Stephanie George-Cistrunk, and I am an educator. I have a master’s degree in educational leadership and have worked in numerous positions in the school system. Currently, I work with students with learning disabilities. In the past, I have worked as a sixth-grade reading teacher and maintained the highest LEAP scores for three consecutive years. I have also functioned as a lead teacher. In addition, I taught at Sowela Technical College; the WORK Ready U program, which assisted students with obtaining their GED and college credits simultaneously through the Literacy program.
In my spare time, I teach Sunday School, Chair and facilitate Student Council events, serve as President of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc., and CEO of Lift and Load Trucking and Logistics LLC. I am happily married to an educator, and we have two sons and four grandsons. I have dedicated over 17 years of my life to education, and I am passionate and motivated to help all students achieve greatness in and out of the classroom.
